Gutter in Lewiston
This client had a company come out and install all new gutters around her house, but they wouldn't touch this section due to the extensive rot in the fascia. I cut out the rot and replaced with fresh wood, painted to match, then hung this gutter and downspout. Also threw in a leaf guard.

Basement Window in Lewiston
The old, wooden windows were leaking and cracked. Had to get these vinyl windows custom made since the opening wasn't a standard size, but they fit perfectly. The client also wanted to keep the well, but make it look nicer. I sanded off the rust and gave it a coat of paint for metal.

Small Retaining Wall in Auburn
This isn't my usual line of work, but the job was small enough I took it on. The old retaining wall was made of wooden beams that were rotted through and crumbled to the touch. Set in these blocks upon a bed of crushed rock. Back-filled with more rock to promote proper drainage. Then capped it.

Door Replacement in Auburn
The old door had a broken window and was drafty. The owner wanted a new, half-light door. The problem was that the original framing was for a 78" tall door, and the standard height for exterior doors nowadays is 80". So I had to add some height to the framing. Fit beautifully afterwards.

Window Replacement in Auburn
If I can help it, I like to put in new construction windows instead of replacement ones. The difference being that new construction windows have a flange around them which, when done right, works a lot better at keeping water out. I had to pop the vinyl siding off a bit to get it in, but it made for a better long-term solution to an old, drafty window.

Small Deck in Auburn
The only thing holding up the old deck was habit. The owner wanted a smaller deck in its place. This thing is solid. The stairs were longer than the old deck, but that's how they had to be built to satisfy local code.

Simple (but Heavy) Shower Surround in Lewiston
Brand new house, but the builder forgot to put in a surround for this shower. I helped the new owner find one to their liking and installed it. Beautiful surround, but holy cow were those panes of tempered glass heavy.

Railing Replacement in Auburn
The old railing was old and unsafe. The client wanted a new aluminum railing that could be secured into the concrete porch and steps. Went ahead and put this in. Much more secure.

Railing in Lisbon
Concrete porch and a brick patio. This one involved a little creativity. I poured two piers below the frost line and formed the tops to be level with, and the same shape as, the surrounding bricks. Then the posts and railings. Solid. Sound.
